A standalone scrubber or multistage process can be provided for applications with large air flows and/or high concentrations of diverse odorous compounds.
If ammonia and/or amines are present in the odorous air stream, an acid stage scrubber would be utilised, followed by an alkaline process which removes any acidic gases.
In the majority of cases, odorous air streams are acidic in nature and are treated through a two stage process: based on an oxidisation first stage, with a caustic second stage to removed chlorine.
Our systems are designed on a project by project basis and are designed and built to BS4994\BS EN 13121-3 and fully compliant with WIMES 8.05. The full turn key projects for Chemical Scrubber can include:
Plasticon also provide both reactive and planned maintenance services to ensure that your odour control systems are maintained to achieve optimal performance and operation.
